Perry Greene will be the NBC News’ new face of its morning news show, NBC announced Thursday.
The network’s announcement comes less than a month after the news organization was acquired by Comcast for $15 billion.
The news organization will have 24-hour news and commentary from NBC’s news studios.
It is the second time NBC News has made an announcement about Greene, who joins The Kelly File as the network’s co-anchor.
In August, NBC News announced Greene was leaving the show after just two years to pursue other opportunities.
The NBC News executive team did not give any specific reason for the move.
Greene previously hosted The Kelly Files from March to June 2017.
