Graham Greene starred in the 2013 film Rolling Greens and the 2011 novel The Green Grass, but the two books are in different universes.
“Graham is an actor, but I’ve been playing for a long time,” Greene told The Verge.
“I was actually at the end of a three-week stint with the actor Mark Ruffalo in Breaking Bad.
And he’s the same guy, so we’re friends.
So, yeah, I guess it’s kind of like an odd relationship.
We just started talking and he said, ‘I think you’re an incredible actor, so I want to do you another one.'”
Greene’s character is played by Scott Eastwood, who has appeared in countless movies, television shows and games, including the upcoming sequel to Fargo, The New 52, and the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse.
“Rolling Green” has sold over 50 million copies and the book is being released on Amazon Prime this week.
“It’s the greatest work of literature I’ve ever read,” Greene said.
“My family’s been very supportive.
I think I’ve sold out two times in three days.”
Rolling Red is available for preorder on Amazon and in the UK on Thursday, March 7.
